We invite you to Discover Brantford!

Brantford offers a wide variety of attractions and entertainment that includes over 100 festivals and events annually. With a rich history that spans over 11,000 years, Brantford is home to a vibrant and active heritage, music and arts community.

For outdoor adventure seekers, the Grand River, one of only 37 designated Heritage Rivers in Canada, winds its way through the community offering a genuine wilderness experience that has some of the best fishing, paddling and hiking in southern Ontario.

Proudly known as the Tournament Capital of Ontario, Brantford boasts a legacy of sport that stems from being the hometown of the “Great One” Wayne Gretzky. His father, Walter Gretzky still calls Brantford home and is a familiar face at community events and fundraisers.

Brantford’s moderate climate accounts for its glorious gardens, Carolinian trees and exotic blooms. Brantford’s history of horticultural excellence is particularly strong as it was the first Canadian city to win at the international level of the Communities in Bloom program.

No matter what you’re looking for, we have it all in Brantford. Don’t forget to stop by the Brantford Visitor & Tourism Centre, located at 399 Wayne Gretzky Parkway - our friendly and informative staff will help guide you on your way.
